Marco's currently working on the score to Knowing starring Nicholas Cage. View trailer The film is about a time capsule that contains accurate predictions of some of the most horrible events in recent history. There's one that hasn't yet occurred, which Cage attempts to prevent.
Max Payne
For their third film together, Marco wrote an action package score for the video game-based Max Payne. The film stars Mark Wahlberg and releases October 17th. The soundtrack is available on La La Land Records.
The Hurt Locker
Marco collaborate with acclaimed director Kathryn Bigelow for the Iraq war drama The Hurt Locker. Summit Entertainment picked the film up at the Toronto Film Festival. It won four awards at the Venice International Film Festival.
In the Electric Mist
Marco created a southern score for the bayou-based In The Electric Mist. The murder mystery stars Tommy Lee Jones, Peter Sarsgaard and John Goodman and was directed by acclaimed French filmmaker Bertrand Tavernier. Here are some photos of the recording session with Dirk Powell in Louisiana.
Marco's score for 3:10 to Yuma nominated for an Academy Award
Russell Crowe, Christian Bale and Peter Fonda star in 3:10 to Yuma, a modern take on the classic western by Elmore Leonard from producing/writing/directing team Cathy Konrad and James Mangold ("Walk the Line"). Marco's score features bold melodies, textured ambience and western instrumentation.
