Marco received the Satellite Award for Best Original Score for Soul Surfer. The awards were held on December 18th. Other nominees included were: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2 (Alexandre Desplat), Super 8 (Michael Giacchino), Drive (Cliff Martinez), Water for Elephants (James Newton Howard) and  War Horse (John Williams). 

Varese Sarabande have announced they will be releasing a new limited edition soundtrack for the film, Mimic, which is now available for pre-order. The album will begin shipping the week of October 24th and is limited to 1000 copies.
